A flat roof can offer a less expensive, practical, reliable and hardwearing alternative to a ‘standard’ roof to suit most budgets.  The combination of materials used in the flat roofing process offer a durable, weatherproof roof that is resistant to strong winds and rain, as well as UV rays, which means the property will stay cool in the summer.

Our team will strip, remove and dispose of old material and ensure that the structure is safe and meets Building Control Standards.  We also ensure that the new industry regulations regarding roof insulation standards are met. 

FLAT ROOFS

The torch-on felt roof process involves three separate layers of felt (bitumen) for homes and  garages, welded onto the surface of the roof, and then to each other, with a blowtorch to achieve a completely sealed finish.  A torch-on felt roof can be applied in most weather conditions and is a relatively quick process, making it a labour and cost effective solution.

Materials used in the process of flat roofing are provided with guarantees of between 15 and 25 years (depending on the specific product).  All Read’s Roofing Ltd new flat roofs are covered under our 10 year workmanship guarantee and all our work is fully insured.
